green city shanghai | green for the people?
what irks me about living in shanghai is that there is a lot of public green you can not actually use. the shanghai green is always just pretty to look at. there are almost never benches or other “human friendly” facilities and when you try to sit on the ground there is certainly someone coming in from somewhere telling you that it is forbidden to do whatever you are doing. even if it’s just sitting there.
